In mid-March 2024, we embarked on an exciting new chapter, expanding our production capabilities by adding a new brewing facility in San Marcos, located within Draft Republic. With this expansion, we’ve boosted our output by 5,500 barrels of beer, allowing us to bring even more of our signature brews to beer enthusiasts.This isn't just about brewing more; it's about brewing greatness.

Tyler Potter, a Temecula native now living in Oceanside with his wife Kaitlyn and their dog Bailey, started brewing as a hobby in 2015 and turned professional in 2017. His career has taken him from cellarman to brewer, with a key role at Pure Project Brewing Co. before joining Tarantula Hill's new San Marcos Brewery.
Tyler values the ongoing learning and community in brewing, with a preference for Lagers, low ABV Hoppy Styles, Funky Saisons, and Barrel-Aged Stouts. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, traveling, and beach days.
Jose Rios, a native of North County San Diego from San Marcos and Escondido, has built a successful nine-year career in the beer industry. Starting on the packaging line at Stone Brewing with overnight shifts,
Jose has steadily risen through the ranks to become a skilled brewer. His dedication and passion for brewing have earned him a respected reputation in the industry.
