As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in delivering dishes from the kitchen to our guests' tables in a timely and organized manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
-Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all patrons-Follow proper procedures for opening and closing setup and breakdown.-Assist with any preparation for any events and parties occurring that day.-Check on food runner supplies, and restock as needed, including rollups,sauces, napkins and togo boxes-Check on bathrooms, and clean and restock supplies as needed-Stock to-go supplies, for both food runners and the bar-Stock patio carts with rollups, napkins, togo boxes, etc.-Setup and breakdown water stations, resupply cups as needed-Assist guests with any issues as needed and pass onto leads whenapplicable-Assist with setup, breakdown and running of any onsite events-Be able to understand food tickets and BEOs-Inspect dishes for conformity to diners’ orders and wishes, companystandards, and applicable health and sanitary regulations.-Pre-busses guests tables throughout their dining experience-Consult with expos for availability of menu items.-Package and deliver carryout orders.-Carry plates, bowls, drinks and other items to diners as necessary.-Assists set-up, service and cleanups tasks.-Remove soiled dishes from table; bring to dishwashing area.-Cleans dining areas.-Spot sweeping as necessary-Clean and store child highchairs and booster seats.-Clean up spills, broken service ware and attends to similarproblems during service with minimal disruption to diners.-Periodically checking in on tables’ dining experience
Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 30 pounds-Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment-Must be an effective communicator, both with guests and other employees-Must be able to express certain limitations that can occur to a guest with a positive and friendly demeanor-Must be able to multitask, and monitor supplies used for service-Must be able to provide assistance to other stations as needed.-Must have the ability to learn and apply new knowledge or skills for your work.-Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and cooperate seamlessly with co-workers, management, and shift leaders.
